John has helped leading organizations spanning nonprofits, digital media, market research, and the United Nations. His work has taken him around the world advising senior executives of high-tech companies, negotiating with government ministries, launching products, organizing events and conducting research.
John began his career in the International Operations Department of Harris Corporation, then on to leadership roles at MCI/Verizon, before accepting his post within the United Nations system at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), based in Geneva, Switzerland.
For the past 10 years, John has been a senior executive of nonprofit organizations helping to expand member value and create new services by listening to members, quantifying member engagement, launching a digital TV studio and developing and implementing strategic plans.
Before founding Broadreach SMI, John served as chief operating officer of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
John holds an MBA from Georgetown University, and a BA in International Affairs from American University.
An experienced technology executive with proven success and strong global business development experience within the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 market sectors. Fred has successfully launched world-class Industrial IoT software and cloud-based IoT service platforms targeting customers from small innovator companies up to and including Fortune 500 corporate customers.
Prior to IoT-Launch, Fred has served as President of Telit IoT Platforms, CEO of ILS Technology, VP and General Manager of RadiSys Corp - Industrial and Telecom divisions, as well several leadership positions with IBM’s Manufacturing System Products Division, IBM PC Company, and IBM System Products Division.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, MBA & MSCIS from University of Miami.
Matt provides HR and talent consulting services and serves as an interim Chief People Officer for small and mid-size companies. He provides talent scaling and implementation support, including HR strategy and operational plans, HR policies and processes and full employee lifecycle services across hiring, compensation and rewards, benefits and development.
Matt has held senior HR and business roles in talent and leadership consulting firms, HR think tanks and in a number of start up, mid-market and multinational companies. Throughout his career, Matt’s focus has been on the intersection of people and business performance through organizational effectiveness -- combining disciplines of talent management, leadership development, organization design and structure, design of measurements and scorecards, implementation of change and transformation, deploying smart processes and smart technology to manage human capital and formulate the broader Human Resources agenda.
Prior to joining BroadreachSMI, Matt served as the Talent Management leader for Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals and Globalfoundries semiconductors. Previously he held consulting roles with Gap International (leadership and innovation) and Spring International (employee engagement). Matt also served as a principal at strategy firms The Institute for Corporate Productivity and The Human Capital Institute.
Matt earned an MS in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University, and a BA in Communications for the University of Illinois. He also served in the first cohort for Education for Democracy in the Czech Republic and held global assignments across Asia and the Americas on Nortel Network’s HRLDP.

Brent has been a business accelerator throughout his career and has held various sales, sales training and operations management roles. He is currently serving as a sales consultant for the largest electric vehicle charging station manufacturer in the world as well as helping surgical hardware manufacturers increase their market share in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University and stays connected to the industries he serves through memberships in non-profits and relentless networking.
