This highly regarded 50-year-old technical society found itself delivering a narrowing set of services to what should have been a broadening audience.

 

Due to delayed decisions around technology, an instinct to "build it ourselves" and mostly manual workflows, the staff were struggling to keep up. The heavy focus on quality without the necessary investments in systems distracted the organization from seeing the broader landscape of opportunities to address the needs of the industry.
