Principal & Founder
John has helped lead organizations spanning non-profits, digital media, market research, and the United Nations. His work has taken him around the world advising senior executives of high-tech companies, negotiating with government ministries, launching products, organizing events and conducting research.
John began his career in the International Operations Department of Harris/Lanier Corporation, then on to leadership roles at MCI/Verizon, before accepting his post within the United Nations system at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), based in Geneva, Switzerland.
For the past 10 years, John has been a senior executive of non-profit organizations helping to expand member value and create new services by listening to members, quantifying member engagement, launching a digital TV studio and developing and implementing strategic plans.
Before founding Broadreach SMI, John served as chief operating officer of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
John holds an MBA from Georgetown University, and a BA in International Affairs from American University.
